Where Archmage sits

Mage → Sorcerer → Archmage → Destroyer. Pocket Gamer’s v1.0.38 class guide: “Archmages will be stronger in terms of AoE damage, but some of the other classes will start to shine a little too” — Sorcerer is S at T2, Archmage is A at T3 because Arcanist and Berserker pop off at the same step. Advancement past T2 is gated by server age, not just your level.

What transfers

Everything that made Sorcerer work still applies: the Accuracy trait, Light or Fire affinity, and the long-term stat order Speed › Crit Rate › Crit Damage › Elemental Mastery › ATK. Your relic resonance work on one element is the investment that carries.

Prepare before the tier unlocks

Community warning from the EOG Important Tips page: each new job advancement opens a pseudo-banner that only feeds the new pool — save Stellatie and Skill Shard Vouchers ahead of each tier instead of redeeming early vouchers for T1/T2 skills.
